Why BDX

Precision wins. Not price.

Most excavation bids are a guess with a markup on it. Ours aren't. Here's what's different when a BDX number lands in your inbox.

01 — Estimating

Every quantity confirmed

We run every plan set through an AI-assisted estimating system that reads every sheet, traces every pipe run, and flags every gap before we price it. What's in the plans is in the bid. What isn't, is stated as an exclusion — in writing.

02 — Field

GPS grade control

Machine-guided grading means pads, parking, and swales hit design elevation the first time. No re-work, no survey disputes, no schedule slip waiting on a fix.

03 — Structure

Lean by design

Low overhead and no layers — your PM talks straight to the people running the work. The money big outfits spend on office stays in your budget instead.

How We Bid

From plan set to price — no gaps.

STA 0+00

Send the plans

Email the civil set, geotech, and bid form to dirt@BDXcavation.com. That's the whole intake.

STA 1+00

Full takeoff

Every sheet read, every quantity measured, every unclear dimension flagged and dollar-ranked — not assumed.

STA 2+00

Scope-complete bid

Base bid, extras, and exclusions clearly separated. Geotech risk priced as a range, not buried in the number.

STA 3+00

Built to plan

The crew that bid it builds it. Quantities verified in the field, changes documented same day.

Field Proof

The work speaks. This is it.
